PE Classes

Physical Education classes, taught by RFC trainers, hosted by Dominican Hospital's Personal Enrichment Program

Elementary PE

This PE class focuses on movement literacy for kids in grades K-5. Students will experience the building blocks of human movement including balance, accuracy, coordination, hopping, skipping, jumping, and bounding.  Minimal equipment needed:  only some simple household items and a child's imagination!

Middle School PE

This PE class focuses on movement literacy for kids in grade 6-8.  Students will learn basic anatomy while exercising with 3 dimensional movements.  Minimal equipment needed:  only some simple household items and a tween' imagination!

High School PE

This PE class focuses on movement literacy for teens in grade 9-12.  Students will be educated about their physical body and the effects of exercise on their body and mind.  Students WILL NOT be competing in sports or other competitions.  Each student will gain greater awareness of their individual ability and will be given tools to improve overall performance.
